PADI MASTER FREEDIVER

If you’re really hooked by the breath-hold diving and allready an Advanced Freediver who wants to learn how to fine-tune your lifestyle and training so that you can approach master levels, than the PADI Master Freediver course is for you. Through focused sessions, you’ll bring your static apnea, dymanmic apnea, free immersion and constant weight skills to the next level. From this point on freediving becomes a lifestyle more than just a hobby. People who make it here are really passionate already and willing to grow up in the sport.

WHAT IS ON THE PROGRAM

The PADI Master Freediver course consists of three main phases:

➤ Knowledge development about nutrition, relaxation and advanced breathing techniques. You'll study independently using the PADI Freediver touch. Or we will do some theory here in the diveshop. You'll also complete independent research as part of the MAster Freediver assignment.
➤ Confined water sessions to improve static and dynamic apnea attempts, including a no fins dynamic apnea. Goal: static apnea of 3 minutes, 30 seconds and dynamic apnea of 70 meters/230 feet.
➤ Open water sessions to practice mouthfill equalization and perform warm up and work up dives for free immersion and constant weight freediving. Goal: constant weight freedive off 27 meters/90 feet.

To enroll in a PADI Master freediver course you must be at least 18 years old and have a PADI Advanced Freediver certification (or a qualifiying certification from another freediver organization).

FREEDIVER EQUIPMENT

You need to have a low-volume freediving mask, snorkel, bifins, wetsuit and weightbelt. For this course it is a good idea to have a personal freediving computer but still we can provide you some of this equipment except for the freediving computer.
